Quatama Elementary Project Learning Garden

August 10, 2021 - Students at Quatama Elementary School celebrated the success and hard work of their garden today which included harvesting vegetables and herbs and enjoying a salad. The summer grant program is supported by partners: Dole, The Captain Planet Foundation and Albertsons/Safeway. Special guests Hillsboro Mayor Steve Callaway and Oregon Representative Janeen Sollman were greeted by the young students along with Quatama Principal Yolanda Coleman and her amazing Quatama teachers.
