Vision
Transformational learning through STEAM (Science and Technology interpreted through Engineering and the Arts, all based in Mathematical elements)! We will first engage our staff, students and families with real world learning in the arts and sciences so that school is a place they want to be (attendance) and solving difficult challenges (perseverance and rigor) is what they want to do. Meaningful work will reach all of our learners as well as build their confidence. We seek to bring access, balance and equity to each student’s education. Our goal is to inspire and motivate students through active, engaging learning.
W strive to maintain and improve in implementing learning activities that students find to be relevant, important, worthwhile, and connected to their cultural and personal lives outside of the classroom (Instructional Practice) as measured by staff and student surveys, completion of well-planned STEAM units, and walk through data on engagement strategies and specialist support.
